James I King was born in July 1394 in Innermeath,Dumferline,Fifeshire,Scotland.1   James I King's father was Robert III (Robert John STEWART) King Scotland and his mother was Annabella (of Stoball) Drummond.  His paternal grandparents were Robert II Scotland King and Elizabeth More Queen of Scotland; his maternal grandparents were John Drummond 11th Lord of Lennox and Mary Margaret MONTIFEX. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John, David, Robert, Margaret Princess of, Margaret, Mary, Mary, Elizabeth and Egidia.  He was the youngest of the ten children.  He died in Perth,Perthshire,Scotland.  He was buried in 1437 in Charter House,Perth,Perthshire,Scotland.1 1

‌James I King and Joan were married in a religious ceremony in St. Mary,Overy,Southwark,Surrey.  They had two sons and seven daughters, named Alexander, James II (the Fiery Face) King of, Margaret Stewart of, Isabella Elizabeth, Joan Janet, Mary, Annabella, Eleanor and Isabel (Princess).
