Walter was born about 1245 in Menteith,Perth,Scotland.1 Walter's father was Walter "Ballioch" Le Stewart [Earl of Menteit and his mother was Mary Countess Of MENTIETH. His paternal grandparents were Walter Stewart High Steward and Beatrix Gilchrist De Angus; his maternal grandfather was Maurice of MENTEiTH. He had three brothers named Alexander, John De and Alexander. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died in Buried at Abbey of Inchmohomo,Lake Monteith,Scotland. He was buried in Abbey Of Inchmohomo,Island Of Inchmohomo,Lake Of Monteith.1 -
