John Garrett 
John was born on January 7th, 1762 in Fairfax County, Virginia.1 John's father was Edward II Garrett and his mother was Ann West Ousley. His paternal grandparents were Edward I Garrett and Elizabeth Catlett. He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named William, Nicholas Ware, Jesse, Sr., James, Stephen, Hosea, Edward III, Elizabeth, Frances Fannie, Rhoda, Dorcus, Mary, Martha and Irene Kiziah. He was the second oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 82 on April 4th, 1844 in Laurens County, South Carolina.1 -
