Edward I was born about 1708 in Safford Co., VA.1 Edward I's father was John Garrett and his mother was Frances Elizabeth Buckner. His paternal grandparents were John* Garrett and Elizabeth* Ware; his maternal grandparents were Richard Buckner and Elizabeth Cooke. He had six brothers named John, Joseph, Robert, Thomas, Thomas and Nicholas. He had a half-brother named Robert. He died on December 20th, 1751 in Loudon Co., VA.1 -
