Martha Garrett

Martha was born on November 22nd, 1778.¹ Martha's father was Edward II Garrett and her mother was Ann West Ousley. Her paternal grandparents were Edward I Garrett and Elizabeth Catlett. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named John, William, Nicholas Ware, Jesse, Sr., James, Stephen, Hosea, Edward III, Elizabeth, Frances Fannie, Rhoda, Dorcus, Mary and Irene Kiziah. She was the fourth youngest of the fifteen children.
