Irene Kiziah Garrett 
Irene Kiziah was born on March 8th, 1785 in Laurens County, South Carolina.1 Irene Kiziah's father was Edward II Garrett and her mother was Ann West Ousley. Her paternal grandparents were Edward I Garrett and Elizabeth Catlett. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named John, William, Nicholas Ware, Jesse, Sr., James, Stephen, Hosea, Edward III, Elizabeth, Frances Fannie, Rhoda, Dorcus, Mary and Martha. She was the second youngest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 81 on October 12th, 1866.1 -
