Hosea Garrett 
Hosea was born on November 26th, 1800 in Laurens County, South Carolina.1 Hosea's father was John Garrett and his mother was Sallie Mauldin. His paternal grandparents were Edward II Garrett and Ann West Ousley. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Thomas, Jonathan, Jessie, William, John, John, Isaac, Rachel, Elicia and Pattie. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 87 on September 4th, 1888 in Chappel Hill, Texas.1 -
