William II, known as Rufus 'The Red', was born in 1057 in NORMANDY,FRANCE.1   Rufus 'The Red''s father was King William I (The Couqueror) De Normandy Of England and his mother was Matilda De Flanders.  His paternal grandparents were Duke Robert I (The Devil) De Normandy and Lady Arlotta(Herleva) Fulbertsdoittir Of Falaise; his maternal grandparents were Earl Baldwin V (The Pious) De Gaunt Of Flanders and Princess Adela Capet Of France. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Curthose, Richard, Beaucleric, Fine Scholar, Cecilia, Adela, Constance, Gundred, Agatha, Adeliza and Mathilda.  He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named The Elder, Gerbod II and Gundred.  He died  due to Accidental arrow wound at the age of 43 on August 2nd, 1100 in NEW FOREST,ENGLAND.  He was buried on August 3rd, 1100 in WINCHESTER CATHDRAL.1 1
