Hedwige was born about 0910 in Of,,Saxony,Germany.1   Hedwige's father was Emperor Henry I (The Fowler) De Saxony Of The Holy Roman Empire and her mother was Saint, Countess Matilda De Ringelheim.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke Otto De Saxony and Empress Hedwige Carolingian Of The Holy Roman Empire; her maternal grandparents were Count Theodoric De Rigelheim and Ludmilla Raginhildis Godefridsdoittir Of Middle Friesland . She had three brothers and a sister, named Henry, Bruno, Otto II and Gerberga. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thangmar and Princess De Swabia Of The Holy Roman Empire.  She died in Aix-La-Chapelle.1

‌Hedwige and Giselbert were married in a religious ceremony in 0929.  They had two daughters named Alberada and Gerberge.

‌Hedwige and The Great were married in a religious ceremony about 0938 in Mainz Oder,Ingelheim,Rhineland,Germany.3   They had four sons and two daughters, named Hugh II, Otto I, Henri I, Odo Henry, Emma and Beatrice.
