Beatrice was born in 0939 in Bourgogne,Champagne,France.1   Beatrice's father was King Hugh "Magnus" (The Great) Capet Of France and her mother was Princess Hedwige De Saxony Of The Holy Roman Empire.  Her paternal grandparents were King Robert I Capet Of France, Count Of Paris and Lady Beatrice (Widow Of Conrad I Of Argenau) Carolingian Of Vermandois; her maternal grandparents were Emperor Henry I (The Fowler) De Saxony Of The Holy Roman Empire and Saint, Countess Matilda De Ringelheim. She had four brothers and a sister, named Hugh II, Otto I, Henri I, Odo Henry and Emma.  She was the third oldest of the six children. She had two half-sisters named Alberada and Gerberge.  She died in possibly 1005.1
