Adela was born in 1009 in France and her baptism took place in France - dtr of.1 2   Adela's father was King Robert II (The Pious) Capet Of France and her mother was Princess Constance De Aqu.  Her paternal grandparents were King Hugh II Capet Of France and Adelaide De Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were Count William III De Taillefer Of Toulouse and Arsinde De Anjou. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Amauri, Hugh III, Henry I, The Old , Eudo (Odes), Hawise and Constance.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother named Gerold I.  She died in Monastaere de L'Ordre de St. Benoist,Messines,France.  She was buried in Monastere DE L'o,Messines,,France.3 


Adela's first family with Count Renauld I De Nevers

‌Adela and Renauld I were married in a religious ceremony in 1019.4   They had a son named William I.


Adela's second family with Duke Richard III (Curthose) De Normandy

‌Adela and Curthose were married in a religious ceremony on January 2nd, 1027.  They had two daughters named Alix and Helena.


Adela's third family with Earl Baldwin V (The Pious) De Gaunt Of Flanders

‌Adela and The Pious were married in a religious ceremony in 1028 in Paris,Seine,France.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Baldwin VI, The Frisian, Matilda and Judith.
