Conan I, known as The Crooked, was born about 0960 in Rennes,BRITTANY.1   The Crooked's father was Count Juhel Berengar Of Rennes and his mother was Princess Gerberga De Saxony Of The Holy Roman Empire.  His paternal grandparents were Duke Paskwitan II Carolingian Of Brittany and Heiress ? De Rennes; his maternal grandparents were Emperor Henry I (The Fowler) De Saxony Of The Holy Roman Empire and Saint, Countess Matilda De Ringelheim. He had two brothers named Martin and Meen.  He was the oldest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named The Pious, Lothair, Charles, Hildegarde and Matilda.  He died in France ?(killed).1 


The Crooked's first family with Ermengarde De Anjou

‌The Crooked and Ermengarde were married in a religious ceremony in 0980 in France.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Geoffrey, Alan, Judhael and Judith.
