His paternal grandparents were Duke Paskwitan II Carolingian Of Brittany and Heiress ? De Rennes; his maternal grandparents were Emperor Henry I (The Fowler) De Saxony Of The Holy Roman Empire and Saint, Countess Matilda De Ringelheim. He had two brothers named Martin and Meen. He was the oldest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named The Pious, Lothair, Charles, Hildegarde and Matilda. He died in France ?(killed).1 General Notes
