Hildegarde was born about 0940 in Gand Flandre Oriental,BELGIUM.  Hildegarde's father was King Louis IV (The Exiled) Carolingian Of France and her mother was Princess Gerberga De Saxony Of The Holy Roman Empire.  Her paternal grandparents were King Charles III Carolingian Of France and Princess  Elgiva De Wessex Of Saxon England; her maternal grandparents were Emperor Henry I (The Fowler) De Saxony Of The Holy Roman Empire and Saint, Countess Matilda De Ringelheim. She had three brothers and a sister, named The Pious, Lothair, Charles and Matilda.  She was the oldest of the five children. She had three half-brothers named The Crooked, Martin and Meen.  She died in buried: Abdijkerk Egmond,Noord Holland,NETHERLANDS.
