Lula Allen Piper 
Lula Allen was born on October 31st, 1888 in Fayette County,KY. Lula Allen's father was Augustus Bowman Piper and her mother was Lucy Willard Hammond. Her paternal grandparents were William Chauncey Piper and Mary Lavinia Sims. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Edward Sims, James Augustus, Walter Clay, Lewis Allie, George Bowman, Nelle Sanford, Mary Hammond, Artemisia and Ann Coleman. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 88 on July 13th, 1977 in Fort Wayne,Allen Co.,IN.General Notes
