Ann Coleman was born on September 27th, 1894 in Fayette County,KY. Ann Coleman's father was Augustus Bowman Piper and her mother was Lucy Willard Hammond. Her paternal grandparents were William Chauncey Piper and Mary Lavinia Sims. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Edward Sims, James Augustus, Walter Clay, Lewis Allie, George Bowman, Nelle Sanford, Mary Hammond, Lula Allen and Artemisia. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 93 on April 26th, 1988 in Versailles,Woodford Co.,KY.General Notes
