George Bowman Piper 
George Bowman was born on December 31st, 1899 in Fayette County,KY. George Bowman's father was Augustus Bowman Piper and his mother was Lucy Willard Hammond. His paternal grandparents were William Chauncey Piper and Mary Lavinia Sims. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Edward Sims, James Augustus, Walter Clay, Lewis Allie, Nelle Sanford, Mary Hammond, Lula Allen, Artemisia and Ann Coleman. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 72 on March 6th, 1972 in Sonora,KY.General Notes
