William D. Blackburn 
William D. was born on November 19th, 1762 in York Co.,PA. William D.'s father was John B. Blackburn and his mother was Nancy Maxwell. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Blackburn and Margaret Wilson. He had four brothers and a sister, named Samuel, John, James, Robert and Hannah. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 61 on April 13th, 1824 in Sullivan Co.,IN. He was buried in Watson Cemetery,Anthony and George Strother witnessed will of Wm.General Notes

After the death of his father, he moved with his mother and family to Bourbon Co., KY in 1794. He moved to Butler Co., OH in 1803. He was in Edwards Co., IL in 1815, then moved to Sullivan Co., IN in 1820. On 13 Apr 1824 he was killed by a heavy log falling on him during a barn raising.
