William Herbert Turner

William was born on March 28th, 1871 in Forest, Tasmania, Australia.¹ William's father was Henry William Turner and his mother was Emily Jane Mears. His paternal grandparents were William Turner and Elizabeth Cannings. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Arthur, George, Frederick, Albert, Leslie, Alfred, Minnie and Lottie. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Emily. He died at the age of 69 on May 10th, 1940 in Perth, Australia.¹
