Leslie Arthur Turner

Leslie was born on October 2nd, 1880 in Forest, Tasmania, Australia.¹ Leslie's father was Henry William Turner and his mother was Emily Jane Mears. His paternal grandparents were William Turner and Elizabeth Cannings. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Arthur, George, William, Frederick, Albert, Alfred, Minnie and Lottie. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Emily. He died at the age of 70 on August 30th, 1951 in Shepperton, Victoria, Australia.¹
