Robert Dewar Johnston (Bob) 
Robert was born on March 19th, 1880 in Kirkliston and his baptism took place there on May 2nd, 1880.1 Robert's father was Andrew Johnston and his mother was Mary Bruce Turner. His paternal grandparents were John Johnston and Ann Hardie Dick; his maternal grandparents were John Turner and Janet Catherine Thomson. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Big Shirt, Dodd, Jim, Janet, Ann and Poll. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 78 on February 27th, 1959 in Edinburgh. He was cremated on March 2nd, 1959 in Edinburgh.2 2
