Alianore was born in Brecknock, Breconshire, Wales.  Alianore's father was Humphrey VI the Younger de Bohun and her mother was Eleanor de Braose.  Her paternal grandparents were Humphrey V the Good Earl de Bohun and Maud de Lusignan d'Eu; her maternal grandparents were William (Black Will) de Braose and Eve Marshal. She had two brothers named Gilbert and Humphrey VII. She had a half-brother named John de Bohun of.  She was buried in Walden Abbey.


Alianore's family with Robert de Ferrers

‌Alianore and Robert were married in a religious ceremony on June 26th, 1269 in Westminster Abbey, London, England.  They had a son and a daughter, named John and Alianore.
