Hamelin Plantagenet of was born in 1130 in Normandy, France.  Hamelin Plantagenet of's father was Geoffrey V the Fair Plantagenet of Anjou and his mother was Adelaide of Angers.  His paternal grandparents were Fulk V (Foulques) Le Jeune of Anjou and Ermengarde of Maine. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry II Curtmantle FitzEmpress of, Geoffrey VI Plantagenet of, William Plantagenet of, Emma and Mary of.  He died at the age of 72 on July 5th, 1202 in England.  He was buried in 1202 in Chapter House, Lewes, Sussex, England.


Hamelin Plantagenet of's family with Isabel de Warenne

‌Hamelin Plantagenet of and Isabel were married in a religious ceremony in April 1164.  They had two sons and five daughters, named Jeffrey, William, Ida (Isabel) Plantagenet of, Ela (Adela), Maud de Warenne, Mary and Suzanne.
