Margaret of was born in Northumberland, England.  Margaret of's father was Henry Dunkeld of Huntingdon and her mother was Adelaide (Ada) de Warenne.  Her paternal grandparents were David I the Saint of Scotland and Matilda (Maud) of Huntingdon; her maternal grandparents were William II de Warenne and Isabella Capet de Crepi of Vermandois. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William I the Lion of, David Dunkeld of, John, Malcolm IV the Maiden of, Ada of, Isabella of, Maud of and Marjory Canmore of.  She died in 1201.  She was buried in Sawtrey Abbey, Hunts..
