Gundrada de was born in Normandy, France.  Gundrada de's father was Gherbod the Fleming of St. Omers and her mother was Mathilda of Flanders.  Her maternal grandparents were Baldwin V the Pious de Lille of Flanders and Adela (Alix) Capet of France. She had two brothers named Gherbod the and Richard. She had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Richard of, Robert III Curthose of, William II Rufus of, Henry I Beauclerc of, Adeliza of, Cecilia of Holy, Adela, Agatha of, Constance of and Matilda of.  She died on May 27th, 1085 in Castle Acre, Norfolk, England.  She was buried in Chapter-house of Lewes, Sussex, England.


Gundrada de's family with William I de Warenne

‌Gundrada de and William I were married in a religious ceremony before 1075.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Reynald, William II and Editha.
