Constance of was born in 1066 in Normandy, France.  Constance of's father was William I the Conqueror of England and her mother was Mathilda of Flanders.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert II The Magnificent Devil of Normandy and Herleva de Falaise; her maternal grandparents were Baldwin V the Pious de Lille of Flanders and Adela (Alix) Capet of France. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Richard of, Robert III Curthose of, William II Rufus of, Henry I Beauclerc of, Adeliza of, Cecilia of Holy, Adela, Agatha of and Matilda of. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Gherbod the, Richard and Gundrada de.  She died at the age of 24 on August 13th, 1090 in Brittany, France.
