Humphrey V the Good Earl was born about 1204 in Hungerford, Essex, England.  Humphrey V the Good Earl's father was Henry de Bohun and his mother was Maud FitzGeoffrey de Mandeville.  His paternal grandparents were Humphrey IV de Bohun and Margaret of Huntingdon; his maternal grandparents were Geoffrey FitzPiers de Mandeville and Beatrice de Say. He had three brothers and a sister, named Henry, Ralph, Robert and Margery.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died on September 24th, 1275 in Near Kenilworth Castle, Warwick, England.  He was buried in Llanthony Priory, Gloucester, England.
