Aubrey II (Alberic) was born about 1062 in Hedingham, Essex, England.  Aubrey II (Alberic)'s father was Aubrey I (Ableric) de Vere and his mother is Beatrice de Gand.  His paternal grandparents are Alphonsus de Vere and Katherine of Flanders; his maternal grandparents were Henry de Gand of Bourgourgh and Sibyl (Rose) de Manasses of Guisnes. He had a sister named Alice.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died on May 15th, 1141 in London, Middlesex, England.  He was buried in Colne Priory.

They had five sons and three daughters, named Robert, Geoffrey, Gilbert, William, Aubrey III, Juliana, Adeliza and Rohese.
