Maud de Lusignan was born about 1208 in La Marche, Poictou, France. Maud de Lusignan's father was Raoul I de Lusignan and her mother was Alice de Eu de Hastings. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh VIII le Brun de Lusignan and Bourgogne de Rancon; her maternal grandparents were Henry II de Eu de Hastings and Maud de Warenne Plantagenet. She had two brothers and a sister, named Guarin, Raoul III d'Exoudun and Jehanne. She was the youngest of the four children. She died on August 14th, 1241. She was buried in Llanthony Priory, Gloucester, England.General Notes
