William III le Meschines d'Aubigny was born in 1109 in Arundel, Buckingham, Norfolk, England.  William III le Meschines d'Aubigny's father was William II Pincerna d'Aubigny de Albini and his mother is Maud de Bigod.  His paternal grandparents were Roger de Albini d'Aubigny and Amice de Montbrai; his maternal grandfather was Roger de Bigod and his maternal grandmother is Adeliza de Grentmesnil. He had three brothers and a sister, named Nigel, Oliver, Ralph and Olivia.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 67 on October 12th, 1176 in Waverly Abbey, Surrey, England.  He was buried in Abbey of Wymondham in Norfolk, England.

‌William III le Meschines d'Aubigny and Adeliza de Brabant of were married in a religious ceremony in 1138.  They had four sons and three daughters, named William IV le Breton d'Aubigny, Ralph (Reyner) d'Aubigny, Henry d'Aubigny, Geoffrey d'Aubigny, Olivia d'Aubigny, Agatha d'Aubigny and Alice d'Aubigny.
