Ferdinand III the Saint of Castile & was born in July 1201 in Castile, Spain.  Ferdinand III the Saint of Castile &'s father was Alfonso IX el Barboro of Castile and Leon and his mother was Berengaria Alfonsez de Castile.  His paternal grandparents were Ferdinand II of Leon and Urraca of Portugal; his maternal grandparents were Alfonso VIII the Noble and Good of Castile and Eleanor Plantagenet. He had a brother and three sisters, named Alfonse de Castilla y Mesa, Berengaria Infanta of Castile &, Constanza Infanta of and Leonor Infanta of.  He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named UNKNOWN, Sancha Infanta of, Dulce of and Urraca Alfonsez.  He died at the age of 50 on May 30th, 1252 in Seville, Spain.
