Henry IV Bolingbroke Plantagenet of was born on May 30th, 1366 in Bolingbrooke Castle, Lincolnshire, England.  Henry IV Bolingbroke Plantagenet of's father was John Plantagenet of Gaunt and his mother was Blanche Plantagenet of Lancaster.  His paternal grandparents were Edward III Plantagenet of England and Philippa of Hainault; his maternal grandparents were Henry Grosment Plantagenet of Derby and Isabel de Beaumont. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Edward, John, John, Philippa Plantagenet of, Elizabeth Plantagenet of and Isabel. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, John, Henry, Thomas, Katherine Plantagenet of, Joan and Blanche.  He died in Jerusalem Chamber, Westminster Abbey, London, England.  He was buried in 1413 in Canterbury Cathedral, Canterbury, Kent, England.
