Luke Walton

Luke was born in August 1850 in Bolton.¹

Luke's father was John Walton and his mother was Sarah Mather. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Mather and Ann (Hannah) Hindley. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, James, Joshua, John, Thomas, Eli, Allen, Mary and Ellen. He was the nineth oldest of the ten children. He died at 5 months old in January 1851 in Sharples. His burial was on January 19th, 1851 at All Saints, Little Bolton.²
