Edward Smith

Edward was born in September 1879 in Little Bolton.¹

Edward's father was Francis (Frank) Smith and his mother was Alice Brooks. His maternal grandparents were James Brooks and Alice Mather. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Francis, Margaret, Mary, Alice and Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
