Sarah Mather

Sarah was born on March 4th, 1814 in Croft and her baptism took place on April 15th, 1814 at St. Oswald (Winwick).¹

Sarah's father was William Mather and her mother was Martha Welch. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Ann Monks. She had five brothers and six sisters, named William, William, Thomas, James, John, Jane, Ellen, Ann, Elizabeth, Mary and Margaret. She was the third youngest of the twelve children. She died as an infant at 11 months old in February 1815 in Croft. She was buried on February 15th, 1815 at St. Oswald (Winwick).¹
