Ann Mather

Ann was born on November 5th, 1799 in Croft and her baptism took place on November 29th, 1799 at St. Oswald (Winwick).¹

Ann's father was William Mather and her mother was Martha Welch.  Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Ann Monks. She had five brothers and six sisters, named William, William, Thomas, James, John, Jane, Ellen, Elizabeth, Mary, Margaret and Sarah.  She was the third oldest of the twelve children.
