Samuel was baptised at Peel by Bolton, the son of William and Mary (Green).
The 1813 death record is for Samuel son of William Mather of Worsley, aged 31 years. Had he gone back to his father? Alice gave birth to Ellin in 1813 and then had an illegitimate child Alice in 1915. It seems the marriage had broken down.
