Rosannah Mather

Rosannah was born in 1833 in Turton and her christening took place on August 24th, 1834 at Christ Church, Walmsley.¹²

Rosannah's father was Holt Mather and her mother was Alice Vickers. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Betty Holt. She had a brother and six sisters, named Thomas, Mary, Lavinia, Ellen, Jane, Alice and Maria. She was the third oldest of the eight children.
