Jane Mather

Jane was born in June 1841 in Turton.¹

Jane's father was Holt Mather and her mother was Alice Vickers. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Betty Holt. She had a brother and six sisters, named Thomas, Mary, Rosannah, Lavinia, Ellen, Alice and Maria. She was the sixth oldest of the eight children. She died at 9 months old in March 1842 in Turton.¹
