Maria Mather

Maria was born in September 1845 in Turton and her baptism took place on November 9th, 1845 at Christ Church, Walmsley.¹²

Birth Notes

Maria's father was Holt Mather and her mother was Alice Vickers. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Betty Holt. She had a brother and six sisters, named Thomas, Mary, Rosannah, Lavinia, Ellen, Jane and Alice. She was the youngest of the eight children.
