Lavinia Mather (Sevine Mather)

Lavinia was born in February 1835 in Turton.¹

Lavinia's father was Holt Mather and her mother was Alice Vickers. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Betty Holt. She had a brother and six sisters, named Thomas, Mary, Rosannah, Ellen, Jane, Alice and Maria. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 11 in October 1846 in Turton. Her burial was on October 24th, 1846 at Christ Church, Walmsley.²²
