Rachel Mather

Rachel was born in 1870 in Adlington and her baptism took place on May 4th, 1870 at Christ Church (Adlington).¹²

Birth Notes

Rachel's father was Isaac Mather and her mother was Alice Hargreaves. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Amy (Amey or Emy) Worsley. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, James, Esther, Martha, Rachel, Margaret, Martha, Elizabeth and Alice. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 1 in January 1871 in Adlington. She was buried on January 15th, 1871 in Adlington.³
