Martha Mather

Martha was born in 1857 in Adlington.¹

Birth Notes

Martha's father was Isaac Mather and her mother was Alice Hargreaves. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Amy (Amey or Emy) Worsley. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, James, Esther, Rachel, Margaret, Martha, Rachel, Elizabeth and Alice. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 6 in 1863 in Adlington.²
