Rachel Mather

Rachel was born in 1812 in Bolton and her christening took place on March 15th, 1812 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Rachel's father was Matthias Mather and her mother was Mary Priestley. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, George, Mathew, Joseph, Edwin, Mary, Ellen, Sophia, Rachel, Caroline and Eliza.  She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.  She died about 1814 in Bolton.
