Mary Priestley

Mary was born about 1776 in Bradford.

- The name "Mary Priestley" is not conmirmed, but lisely with childrens middle name being preistly. Also the family originated from Bradford (where merried and fist son Samuel was born).

General Notes
- Marriage records of Edwin and Rachel (Lancashire OPC project) suggest Matthias’s wife was Mary Priestely.
  It shows that both Edwin and Caroline share the names “Priestley” as a middle name. This would most probably be their mother’s maiden name. If Matthias is from Bradford, then Mary is proably also from there.
  
  There is also a Mather family from Whitkirk near Leeds that had a Matthias baptised in 1780
