Mary (Polly) Elizabeth Mather

Mary, known as Polly, was born in June 1886 in Halliwell.¹

Polly's father was James Mather and her mother was Maria Hulme. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Susanna (Susan) Whalley. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Nathaniel, Joseph, Margaret, Martha, Mary and Emma. She had an adopted brother named Walter. She died at the age of 68 in January 1955 in Bolton. Her burial was on January 26th, 1955 in Bolton.²³
