Gertrude was born on January 21st, 1878 in Astley Bridge.¹

Birth Notes

Gertrude's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Betsy Pendlebury Langshaw. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Betty Barns. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Eddie, Sidney, Albert, Arthur, Eveline, Elizabeth and Maud. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 88 on November 10th, 1966 in Texas (TX).²
