  SOLOMON MATHER who departed this life on the 27th May 1890, Aged 90 years. Also of BETTY the beloved wife of Solomon Mather who departed this life on the 20th April 1870, aged 67 years.

Betty was born in 1803 in Little Bolton.¹ She died at the age of 67 on April 20th, 1870 in Astley Bridge. Her burial was on April 25th, 1870 at Christ Church, Walmsley.²³
