Clara, known as Maud, was born on June 29th, 1873 in Astley Bridge.¹

Birth Notes

Maud's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Betsy Pendlebury Langshaw. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Betty Barns. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Eddie, Sidney, Albert, Arthur, Eveline, Elizabeth and Gertrude. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 66 on April 2nd, 1940 in Connecticut (CT). She was buried in April 1940 in Connecticut (CT).²
