Alice Mather

Alice was born in 1833 in Heywood.¹

- Aged 8 in 1841 at Heywood

Alice's father was James Mather and her mother was Sarah Aked. Her paternal grandparents were Bold (Bould) Mather and Alice Taylor. She had six brothers named Edmund, John, Robert, Alfred, Frederick and Aked. She was the third oldest of the seven children.

General Notes
- 14 Feb 1855, Alice (only daughter) married John James Byatt at Alton, Staffordshire.
  
  In 1881 Alice's her brother Alfred (43) was living with John and the Byatt family at the Royal Oak Inn, Cheadle, Staffordshire
