Robert Mather

Robert was born on January 7th, 1835 in Heywood.¹

Robert's father was James Mather and his mother was Sarah Aked. His paternal grandparents were Bold (Bould) Mather and Alice Taylor. He had five brothers and a sister, named Edmund, John, Alfred, Frederick, Aked and Alice. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on August 25th, 1905 in Iowa. His burial was in Iowa.²¹
